Shari R. Gabriel, M.D.

Shari R. Gabriel, M.D. earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and her medical education at the University of Louisville. She completed her Orthopedic Surgery Residency Training Program at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and her Pediatric Orthopedic and Foot & Ankle fellowships at Medical College of Wisconsin.
She is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Louisville, and staff orthopaedic surgeon on the Commission for Children with Special Needs. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and member of POSNA (Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America). Dr. Gabriel, a Louisville native and mother of four dedicates her practice exclusively to the treatment of children's orthopaedics. Her practice philosophy is to provide quality, caring medical treatment to all patients, regardless of age.

Thomas M. Gabriel, M.D.

Thomas M. Gabriel, M.D. earned his undergraduate degree and medical education at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Training Program at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana and his Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Gabriel is board certified in both hand surgery and orthopaedics by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Gabriel served four years in the US Navy as Lieutenant Commander. He was Chief of the Hand and Upper Extremity Services at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and Ireland Army Hospital in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Louisville, as well as a Staff Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon at the Commission for Children with Special Health Care Needs.
